Hi,
- I have never owned any GMC vehicles before.
- We are looking for a new mid-size SUV and like GMC Acadia Denali 2017 a lot.
Awesome looks, great driving dynamics, nice acceleration, nice interiors etc.
- But wanted help from current GMC owners regarding reliability of Acadia's in-general.
-- How is typical build quality
-- Would it require too much expense on servicing over long term? KBB lists cost-of-ownership above average for Acadia, due to higher than average maintenance costs. Does that sound correct?
-- 2017 Acadia has very nice Infotainment system with lots of features, but do current owners experience lot of issues with their infotainment systems?
Esp. Apple Car Play and Android Auto seem very nice features.
-- Any long term issues with Engine and/or transmission?
1) I think 2017 has their new High-performance V6(LGX) engine. So probably not much data is available
2) But it has its 6speed transmission (6T70) which has been around for a while. So wondering if it has seen any issues in longer term? I have seen that its clutch plates had issues in 2015 year, are they still there?
-- How has been owners experience with its Safety systems, are they reliable in long term?
Blind spot detection, Adaptive Cruise Control , Forward collision detection.
- All-in-all I need help to determine if (1) Acadia's have good build quality and reliability and (2) If typically folks have bought or leased their Acadias.
Any information will be highly appreciated, really like the new 2017 Acadia.
