My name is Steve and I am new to the forum. I just got a 1982 Gmc 1\2 ton pu. The owner said he thinks the motor was changed at one point. the numbers on the back of the block are 40GM then 3970010 then on the front pad v1007chh and under that 1811341. Any help with this would be great Thank you and hope to learn a lot.
