this fixed 70% of my engine issues, inclucing a harsh shift from 1-2 and 2-3 and brought my mileage almost up to factory again, not to mention fixed my rich/sooty exhaust problem http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=503238
glad it was only the regulator @ $65 needed to do the gasket for the upper plenum too but that was only $7 worth noting it took about 6 hours, but that was running to an out of town store for parts (local store had none left) and coffee/lunch breaks, also i replaced 90% of my vacuum hoses and cleaned all upper plenum related valves/sensors, overall actually labour time was probably about 3 hours, i used throttle body cleaner for most of the intake and mechanical bits and electrical contact cleaner for the more seemingly sensitive valve pieces, e.g. EGR and IAC, TPS
