my mom has a 99 savana with 250,000 miles now and lately UNLESS you run 93 octane it idles very bad and taking off itll hesitate until it gets a little higher in rpms. It runs TERRIBLE with the A/C on at idle. It could use plugs and wires but its not terrible im thinking some kind of gas feed issue. When it gets into overdrive and you give it gas it hesitates pretty bad until it goes into the next lower gear. all of this stuff happens if you dont run 93 octane. i was thinking about seafoaming it and seeing what happens but any solutions? this van was very well maintained before us which we got at 206,000 miles and has been well maintained while in our hands it came with a huge book of receipts including rebuild trans about 70,000 miles ago and loads and loads more things so i dont know what has been replaced or not replaced. we have replaced the fuel filter about 30,000 miles ago but this problem has been like this since last summer but we decided around the middle of winter what happens when you run 93 and it runs 100% better. it doesnt run perfect with 93 but when you run 87 it is terrible. It isnt my van so i havent checked fuel pressure, vacuum leaks, egr valve, etc etc but any suggestions would be nice
