1998 jimmy. 4.3 v.6, 4WD HI/LO
ok what is the black box ontop of my coolant container? it has 4 connectors white/black (top) red/blue (bottom)
i ask because i have a strange water leak. sometimes i have to fill up everyday and sometimes i can go weeks without having to put water in. any way i wus putting water in. both readiator and coolant container. very very rusty needs a flush. when i wus fillling up coolant i let over flow for a while and that black box got wet now my radio doesnt work. it turns on but i cant do anything. cant change to cd or change station anything. any ideas?

From what you have described and the location, it's your PCM (Powertrain Control Module) to your Jimmy. The PCM manages all the electrical functions to your Jimmy, such as your Engine ,Transmission, and radio functions is not one of them until year 2000 i believe.
