Hello again. Well, back to her not starting again. I figured it out today. It rained hard last night and she wouldn't start. Same sounding like out of gas. I opened the hood and there is water on the air breather case and battery, a rusty color spot on it where it has leaked out on to the distributor cap next to it. Put the hose on the windshield (hood closed) dried off the hood real quick and opened it. One small spot right where the rusty color on the air breather a bead of water on the firewall where the rubber strip molding is. Checked it, rubber looks great.
Dried it out with the hair dryer and she starts.
My question is the hood is not flush anymore and that's how it is getting in. Is there a way to adjust the hood to make it close down more flush?
Thank you
