on my 2007 sierria new body, the hood open light keeps coming up on the display panel. my remote start wont work because the truck is convinced that the hood is closed. im assuming the position switch on the latch is bad, does anyone know if i can jumper that switch and just connect a wire to the other to completly bypass the sensor?
