I have a 1999 jimmy and i want to beable to turn the lights off manually. Is there any modifications out there for this? I tried a few things w the dome override button with no luck. Can they be disabled w a obdll scan tool?

Not sure about your vehicle, but both my GMC pickups to turn off the drl's manually I just turn the headlight knob to the off position. It is a momentary type position, it will go back to the "auto" position but it does shut off the drl's. You have to do this each time you start the vehicle on my pickups.
