How do I substitute GMC Envoy Fan assembly with electric fan ?

I have had it with the crappy electronic fan clutch. After replacing the clutch and the water pump, this thing is driving me batty. I ran the car for a week with the fan disconnected, and the noise and vibration was gone. No sign of overheating, even with AC on, however the PCM gave me a fan error code. Can you somehow trick the PCM if you install a regular fan clutch or electric fan ? Thanks !

Here is one of the mods we used to do at the speed shop on replacing the clutch fan with the C6 electric fan from a corvette.
