I have a 2003 GMC Envoy and I can't unlock the doors from the outside with the key...odd? I can only use the remote. Does anyone know a way to program the vehicle to use the key along or instead of the remote? The manual doesn't say anything about this.

Thanks!!!

Good chances are that the tumblers in the lock cylinders are frozen with corrosion. The cylinder tumblers may start to work again if you spray some WD40 and let it sit, after a few years of not using the cylinder locks will cause this to happen.

As mentioned, try spraying WD40 and running the key lock in and out to get the tumblers to move in side the cylinder lock. If this does not help, your going to have to replace the cylinder lock. Give a local lock smith and ask them what they use to free up the tumblers to your cylinder lock on the doors.

Good luck and hope this get's your lock to work again with out replacing the lock.
