How heavy a travel trailer can I pull with my 2019 GMC Canyon V-6 ?

Just bought a GMC Canyon and wish to pull a travel trailer with dry weight of 5000 lbs, thus around 6500 lb max weight. I will use a weight distribution hitch.
The book says 7000 lb, but I'd like to hear from people who pull an RV with is truck. Dealer says it's fine.

I am looking for the same only I have the 2.8 diesel and it says 7500LB.
