If you opt for a locker,,,,, SO BOTH TIRES SPIN ALL THE TIME. I weld mine

Search for lockers. Make sure you know what rear end you have on your truck. You should be able to find one for ~$300. Do lots of research and read the reviews on the ones you are interested in. I have a powertrax lockrite on my jeep that I am very happy with. It does make noise when turning but I can live with that.
