I just recently bought 4x6 rear speakers for my gmc sierra and trying to save money i want to install them myself and upon removing the door panel realized the stock speakers are not screwed in but rather clipped in. i was wondering if anybody had any ideas or if anyone knows what to do. thank you.

if u break a clip check body shop or something they should have them clips there

yeah I replaced mine and drill holes...not a great idea it started to rattle after a while. Go on Crutchfield they make a bracket with the stock clip and will work out great for you.
