How to replace a 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition HID bulb?

Auto Zone gave me the wrong bulb...drove back with my headlight rigged on but unattached and they barely even knew what kind of bulb it was...guy tried saying it was a LED bulb.

Later a friend inspected it and told me it's a HID light and that it's probably a 5000K bulb but theres no telling since it's an old car.

So I'm here now trying to find what bulb I need to find online to order and how to uninstall the burned out one because I can't get it to unscrew with pliers.

P.S.
The local GMC dealership didn't have the bulb either!!!!
