huge truck 2012 recall?

Havnt heard anything at all about one. Whats the word?
 
Something about the steering column was all that I caught. Sounded like all rear wheel drive, ie trucks and suburbans and vans
 
OK. Googler and found that letters to owners will be mailed in late January.
 
If anybody should ever have questions pertaining to whether or not your vehicle has an open recall on it, we're happy to look into that for you if we could be provided the last 8 digits of your VIN. Or, an alternative would be to register with GMC Owner Center (https://my.gmc.com/web/portal/managemybrand?g=1) where you can check into this yourself.
