I am trading in my 08 regular cab sierra this morning and im going to pick up my 2011 extd cab. so i thought maybe i could use my programmer on my 2011 but they do not interchange.
Its a hypertech e con programmer. functions properly. fits 07-08 gmc sierra new body style 4.8, 5.3. here is the link to their website. hopefully it will answer any questions you have, if not pm me and i will answer them for you.

one thing the website doesnt tell you is that it can be fully upgraded to the max energy for a fee to hypertech as long as you have a high speed connection.
