i am trying to change a throttle sensor on a 05 gmc canyon, i am having

trouble locating its whereabouts.? i dont really know much about cars so be specific please.

it should be located on the throttle body... this has a round butterfly-like valve in it that opens and closes when you press the gas pedal..
The TPS is usually mounted in the side of this unit..

there will be a large 3 or 4 inch diameter hose attached to it which comes from your air cleaner housing..
