I have 2002 GMC envoy. All of a sudden temperature gauge goes high?

I had to replace hoses but now the engine broke. GOD knows why engine heats up suddenly, please help

Could be alot of things. Blown head gasket, broken oil pump, a bad radiator. How did the engine break? Did it simply bust into little pieces like when you drop a glass?

Could simply be that if you had bought a Ford this issue probably never would have happened.

Start with the simple and replace your thermostat, it may just have gone bad and need to be replaced. Don't worry about Solja, i guess he never had a head replaced from a ford twice from a simple spark plug changed. Dealer stripped out the spark plugs from my FORD LIGHTNING two years in a row from different dealers. Thank god it was covered under warranty, but sold it after warranty was out. Just wanted to take the money and run from guy's like Solja
