i have a 98 gmc sonoma with a steering problem?

i have a 98 sonoma and ever since i got it the steering wheel goes to the left.i already did the alignment but it still does it.i think my front left shock is out,would that be the cause of the steering problem?

When they did your alignment did they check: (1) the ball joints, (2) idler arm, (3) tie rods, (4) torsion bar Z height, (5) front shocks, (6) control arm busings? How about your front wheel bearing? Any groaning rolling down the highway. Can you make the groaning go away by turning into it (one way or the other)?

What does the wear look like on your two front tires?
