...ports could this be a bad injector? could a bad fuel injector cause fuel to leak down into the spark plug port

pull the plug. if the firing tip is soaked with gas then yes an injector could be bad. but if it,s just around the plug on the outside then it,s probably oil. if you have just 1 plug soaked with gas then you might have a bad plug wire not firing the plug.

*** I get an error every time I try to post a new thread  so I thought I'd post here ***

Hi there, new to the forum here and really know nothing about do it yourself fixes so go easy on me haha. My neighbour though has been working on cars essentially since they've been around. He just turned 92, for the most part he can usually figure out his daughters Jimmy but sometimes he needs my hands to help him out. We're stuck with this gas leak problem. Essentially gas is leaking where the fuel goes into the engine. I think it's because the pipes/hoses aren't clamped tight, see the video and you can see the play in them:

My neighbour ordered a bunch of seals:

And we used these guys (2 black plastic pieces and 2 rubber seals):

But I'm not sure we're placing them on right or it feels like we're missing something because when we fasten the mounting bracket thing back up there is still play in the lines. The bracket doesn't seem to be on tight.

Here's another picture:

Any ideas? Did I leave any info out you need to help?
