What happens is that the rubber oil cap to the oil fill tube get's hard, due to the heat and time making it hard to remove. Your going to have to just use brute force and good luck, and when you get a chance. Replace the oil cap as soon as you can, you don't want any of the hard rubber on the cap breaking off in to the engine.
