In the 2011 GMC Acadia where's the USB Port?

I had the same problem. All the GMC marketing (web site, etc) states the USB port is in the center armrest console. It was not there on mine. I finally found it after a couple weeks wondering where it was. It is inside the dashboard storage container right above the air vents. It is really hard to see it inside there. I don't know if they moved the USB port location to here on all 2011 Acadias, or if it is just located there on SLE trims with factory rear entertainment option added. Which is what I have. Let us know if you find it there and what your trim (SLE or SLT) is. Regards...
 
I had the same problem. All the Acadia info states it should be in the center armrest console. I finally found it inside the dashboard storage compartment which is located above the center air vents. It is really hard to see the USB port down inside the compartment. I do not know if GM moved it to this location on all 2011 Acadias, or if it is only located here because I have an SLE with rear DVD option (which includes the USB port) added. I believe it depends on what model of 2011 Acadia you have.

I have a 2011 ACADIA SLE (1), and it doesn't have the USB port. I wish I had added some options on it, as I would like to have DVD/Nav on it. But hey, we get what we can, right.

Oh for crying out loud. 2011 Denali owner here. It is in the dashboard storage area. Even after pointing me in the right direction, still took some hunting. Trying to close the lid after plugging into USB looks like it might result in serious cord pinch. You'd think they would've machined a small relief groove.
