any reason my 2007 sierra has dim instrument lights 50% of the time. I have them turned up but sometimes I drive for 30 min before they brighten up. Includes radio. I just purchased this vehicle with only 14000 miles.

Believe it or not I cleaned the sensor with a good glass cleaner and now my instruments lights work correctly. I start up and within 1 minute the lights brighten up. I think the person who detailed the truck had several coats of armarol or some other product on it.
