Interior Lighting

I just bought an '09 Sierra. When I get in the truck, there is no interior lighting unless I physically switch on the overhead lights. Is there a setting for this? Vehicles I've had in the past have a 3 setting switch where you can turn the off, on, or "door" where they come on when you open the door to get in. All I see on both sets of lights is an on/off switch.

There should be a switch / dial near the headlight switch that dims the dash lights, usually this also shuts off the interior lights if turned off. I don't recall the 2009 exactly, but there may be a switch near that dial that does the dome light separately.
