I have a 96 Jimmy SLS 2 door 4x4 and whenever I am making a sharp turn like say turning right at 4 way it feels like I am in neutral until I start to straighten out then it's back to normal. I still go, it's just that the engine revs a little and I do not have full power until steering wheel starts to straighten out again. It is not anything that really effects how I drive, it just seems like a safety feature to prevent spinning out if that makes any sense. I am just wondering if I am the only one noticing this or if it is in fact how it is supposed to be.
