Good evening
I have a problem with my truck I recently replaced the spider in it got it running ran great shut it off so I could clean up came back out and started it and it had a miss in it still had power but a miss was there drove it it for a week like that got in it to go to work started it up and the miss was gone so I head to work start to come home and the truck wont start had to crank on it for 30 to 40 seconds at a time after the third time it started got about a block from work and it died again had to crank on it got it started drove it home parked it let it sit for several hours went to start it it wouldn't start so I gave up went to bed next morning started right up like nothing was wrong. got off work and I'm back to a no start condition. it will start on either as long as you spray it .It stays running. I am at a loss as what it could be
this is what I have replaced
New spider, fuel pump ,fuel filter and new fuel lines that go to the spider
did a fuel pump pressure test get 60psi then drops to 59 psi did a fuel pump volume test it put out a quart of gas in 30 seconds as per gm so I put a new spider in it because according to gm it was bad so now Im back to ground zero this truck eats spiders for breakfast I have put in 8 spiders in the four years I have had the truck I would like to get to the bottom of this or shes going to the junk yard below is my info
