Just got her!!!

I just purchased a 2004 GMC Sierra. Its a work truck model 4.3L V6, 5spd manual. The only things I noticed wrong with it, is that it has alot of rust issues, in the undercarriage, the speedometer doesn't work under normal acceleration, but it slowly climbs up under hard acceleration(it is jerky as it climbs up though). The roof is sagging. Other than that it sounds real good, and healthy. The previous owner did take the tailgate off, and put one of those nets, that baja people use. But were the tailgate would go, there is also rust, on the bottom at the hinges.
Thats probably the main issue, I am worried about.
