I just put a 3.5" RC lift in my 2007 1500 Sierra and decided to keep my stock rims and get 285/75/17. I have gotten mixed answers whether or not I need 1/4" wheel spacers if I keep my stock rims. I also have been told I only need them for the front tires. Can anyone help me?

I have an 01 with an RC kit. The 285's did not rub on my truck without spacers. However I did install some spacers but only because the truck looked tall and skinny. The spacers really filled it out and helped with the handling a bit too.

Wheel spacers

I called RC Monday and they recommended I buy the wheel spacers for the front so I did. Hopefully the spacers do the same and put my truck at a good stance. Thanks for the reply.
