Hello
I'm new to this forum and just bought a 2011 GMC Sierra crew cab yesterday. When I got the truck home I noticed the tailgate is hard to open and close. I understand there is a lift assist system on the tailgate. I have to pull the tailgate open about 6" in order for it to open. Sometimes I have to help it down. Is this the way it's supposed to be or do I need to adjust something?
