lighting and radio issue

we just bought a 2002 gmc sierra and everything was working fine on it but we noticed that if you have the radio on and you open the passenger side door it kicks the radio off and my other issue is with the dome light and map lights the was working until yesterday and now we have no dome light or map lights we have checked the bulbs and fuses but they are both ok so if anyone has any idea what we can do please let us know thanks

I have an 04 Sierra and if I turn ignition off the radio stays on but once you open either door the radio will turn off. This is how it was designed from factory. There is also no acc position in the ignition. As for the dome light mine has a button near the dimmer and headlight switch that you can disable the interior light. Maybe this will help?
