I am in need of some serious help here guys. I have a 2001 Savana 1500 SLT with the VES and Bose sound system. I attempted to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket one, but when I got it all wired up and plugged it in, everything works, but no sound. I did some research and found that the bose system runs all of the speakers through an amp and the amp needs to be bypassed to get sound from an aftermarket stereo. I have literally searched for 5 hours and completely disassembled the dash but cannot find the amp (or I don't know what it looks like). Is there anyone who can lead me in the right direction from here? I could use some help on how to bypass the amp, but more importantly the location of the amp.
Thanks for your time.
