Locked the keys in my GMC Sonoma?

I stupidly locked the keys in my 1994 GMC Sonoma. I do not have a spare set of keys. I cannot get the Slim Jim to engage the locking mechanism. Anybody ever used a slim jim to unlock a GMC Sonoma? Is it a push or pull? Do I need to go in at the 15 degree angle?

try a hanger, you might be able to pull the sliding lock button or hook the door latch

pull straight up, if that doesnt work a locksmith will do it for about 25 $
