looking for eprom

I am in need of the stock eprom for a 1994 k2500 suburban with the 7.4l engine. I have replaced all the engine components and the prom is the last thing to replace. Junkyards around here are full of 5.7s but no big blocks.
Any help would be great. I know I can order one from hypertech, but I am not sure that it is a replacement instead of in conjunction.
