Low fuel

I cannot believe that no 1 has an answer for this HOW COULD THIS BE THE WITH ALL THIS QUALIFIED PERSONNEL CHINYEE ME IN
 
Wow I'm very sorry I thought I had posted that 2008 v 8 I think 5.3 liter 4 by 4 package crew cab where would I get the gas tank info?
 
It does not say anywhere because its not a precise amount. If I recall they put in 4 gals on assembly line and I have driven new trucks that were still running on original fuel and never seen a light. I would say if the light comes on, possibly 3 gals or less but it might come on sooner or later depending on driving circumstances, hills and curves or parked, for instance causing fuel move away from sensor.
 
Compare the fill up gal to the published gal in the owners manual when the light comes on. Not scientific but close enough.

I agree with big d also once l the lite comes put five gallons of gas in the back and drive till out of fuel And record the mileage but do not running the tank real low because this will cause pump failure
