LS1 Corvette coils on LS3 ???

I was wondering if LS1 corvette coils would work on my 2004 Sierra 1500 with 4.8 trying to wake it up a little more.
the # on my coils are 12558693 ...AC Delco #D581
any info would be of great help. Thanks

Keep your coils. LS1 owners are swapping there coils for the ones your have. The stock ls1 coils make a lot of power and are nor bad at all, but the truck coils are an upgrade from the LS1 coils.

A lot of forced induction guys with LS1 use them since turbos and superchargers deal with more air and the added spark compliments them well .

I think the truck coils are mitsubishi made if i remember right and should be the square coils and the Delphi are the round ones. The coils you have are used in the 6.0 and 5.3 BTW.
