"Multiple misfire on plugs." Code when Ck eng light

I bought the truck a few years ago. I changed the plugs,wires and rotor n distributor cap. Through out the last year annd a half I had changed wires a 2nd time shrting and also coil wire shorting so i replaced wire. with all that shorting most likely culprit now would be the poor coil right? Would the low fire level set the computer off. Im getting 80 miles to a tank..nightmare

The next thing I would replace is the Coil.

Story Time:

When the coil on my Sonoma was on its way out, it would still work but it would also arc a big spark to the closest piece of metal. I noticed it one day while it was dark out and I was looking in to the engine bay. The arc was about 1 to 2 inches long and was very bright. It also made a slight ticking noise, which i believe was the sound of it arcing. The engine still ran, but would misfire.

I ran E3 spark plugs one time and my Jimmy didn't even want to run. I have to use OEM/ACDelco plugs and wires.
