hi there !!!
i have a very complex problem with my Sierra 3500.
i have a 2001 GMC Sierra 3500 lt ,*dual wheel , automatic , V8 ,6.0 , Gas , 320,000 original engine .
I keep getting a "service engine soon " blinking light after 2000 RPM.
I ran the scanner i got the P0300 code "random or multiple miss fire"
, the only cylinders misfiring are number 1 and 6 , however when on idle *none of them misfire , when unplugging the Mass Air Flow sensor it stops misfiring and everything is well .
those are the only codes I found , the truck runs perfect and has plenty of power , i can't hear any knocking , weird noises or loss of power.
here is a list of things that i tried and didn't work :
1 -*swap fuel injectors and new o-rings
2-new spark plugs and cables
3- New coils
4- new" Mass Air Flow" sensor*
5- New intake manifold gaskets
*don't know what else should i try , i've been told that valve springs are fine .
I'he contacted multiple GMC dealer mechanics , but can't find a solution .
