hey my truck is running crappy and has for a long while and would like to fix it so what it does is it will start and then it will kind of idle but it wants too stall until the rpm is brought up and then when i put it in gear it really wants to stall in either forward or reverse and when i stop at a stop sign or light it stalls alot. i just replaced the transmission filter and torque converter and changed the oil and filter and the air filter is clean. the cap and rotor and wires were changed about a year ago or so and i think the fuel filter was changed over a yea ago. im not sure what it could be and it also lacks alot of power like it wont go past 80 km/h and it takes forever to get up to speed. what can it be??? im maybe thinking fuel fiter and cap and rotor and wires and sparkplugs or the computer??? can you help me??

Clean your throttle body and make sure you clean your IAC valve, you can do that by spraying throttle body cleaner through your IAC passage way in the throttle body bore. At worst, your going to have to replace it with a new one and as for your lack of power. Clean of replace your EGR valve, carbon build can cause your EGR to stick open which can cause what you have described.

Try using Seafoam and Deep Creep to clean your throttle body, it's a great way to clean out your vacuum lines from carbon and your engine uses the vacuum for the sensors to send the right signals to the PCM to control your engine's HP.

Keep us posted and good luck. ;)
