Help!! have an 08 sierra. airbag light came on .a few days later truck would not start. mech. said airbag sensor. jumped sensor to get truck running.installed replacement sensor (10 min job).Would not start. jumped out sensor again. mech. said dealer had to program. Brought to dealer. Told could not be done. could ONLY buy NEW part (700$).NEVER told of any recall. Question.Can these be programmed or is there a way to tell if part is good? Have ZERO trust of dealers.Please help,thank you
