recently acquired a '93 Jimmy SLE as a parts truck (500 bucks) for my current DD ('94 Jimmy SLE).

after tinkering with the patrs truck outta boredom , i got it running and got the 4WD working , so since then i have bought a 350 2bolt block with flat pistons and high performance cam, new lifters and rocker arms, distributor and have somehow traded a '76 monte carlo (didnt cost me anything) for new heads and intake manifold. and with the Edelbrock 600 (4 barrell) carb i just got , exhaust manifolds that i have "in stock"...

...i need help.

so now i have a '93 Jimmy JUNK TRUCK that is my new 2011 project that is getting a 350 dropped into it headed for nothing but mud and rocks.

162k on the '93 .

so far this is the biggest project i have ever done in a vehicle, a year ago the most i had done was change oil and replace burnt out bulbs.

i bought my '94 Jimmy SLe and researched the vehicle and from what i have learned. in '93 Chevrolet quite making the Gen1 model and in '92 GMC quite making the Gen1 model... the '94 GMC Jimmy s15 SLE was the parts left over from all models of Blazer (including the Extreme) and the jimmy (including the typhoon) from all the Gen1 models. and fell in love with this truck

only a select few were made with manual locks. mine has it

i have learned more and now am hooked. look forward to this summers project. and the help from here
