Just purchased a white (slightly used 13k miles) 2021 DuraMax Canyon with 6 foot—waiting for my plates. If anyone that lives in Washington or northern Idaho and are looking for a new GMC, you can’t
do any better than Becker in Spokane. Best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle.

A few things I have done regarding upgrades 1. Purchased a rubber bed mat on-line 2. Purchased a Revolver bed tonneau cover on-line 3. Installed GMC slash/mud flaps all around—found the GM “made to fit” were the best value from my local dealer. It’s necessary to drill one 3/16 inch hole for each one otherwise existing screws are reused. Easy peezy and looks factory cause it is factory. 4. Installed a VaVa dash cam and rear cam—hides behind mirror nicely, great quality videos or pictures triggered by push button, gps tracks location and speed. I ordered a fuse adaptor with voltage reducer to eliminate having to plug it into the 12 volt outlet. Super easy install-needs to be connected to switched fuse. The fuse “F29” is switched and has a 5 amp unused fuse for a clean install. Also the VaVa has an internal battery which activates the cameras while parked if your vehicle is hit or the door opens. Works on its own WiFi which means you can view all activities on your phone or send/save clips so easily.
If anyone would like pictures or any of the upgrades or additional information just let me know.
I will be looking to do some camping and trail bike riding utilizing my Canyon. Looking to add a truck tent utilizing the truck bed. Build a cot in the truck bed and add a mini frig/battery/solar setup while camping. I would be interested to see what others have done for camping with their GMC Canyons.
