Just got a 2007 Sierra 5.3L I am coming from the Dakota Forums....wow this thing is shmoove compared to my Dakota (05).

Anyway I am writing about my Key Fob....the fob didn't work, so I went to the dealership here in town. They tested it, changed the battery and tested it again...didn't work. I purchased one they had in stock for 109...but for the convenience of not waiting for one to be ordered it was well worth it. New Key Fob easily synced through the DIC, so no flashing was needed. Now to get a back up Fob on the internet! Good Service so far from the Dealership.

I am glad you got your Fab working and the dealer had it working in no time at all. Take note that if you ever loose your FOB key or you may need another one, visit your local salvage yard and pic one up for $10.00.

Just make sure that the FCC # stamped on the back of your FOB keys are match to the one your pic up to replace the one that you lost. Both of your your FOB keys and the same year of Sierra will have the same FCC #.

Good luck and enjoy your new 07 Sierra. ;)
