Hi. My name is Richard & i just traded my 91 jaguar xj6 sovereign for a 93 GMC Sierra k1500. I have been driving for 7 years now with this being my first truck. The truck has a little over 140,000 miles on ita couple rust spots which is expected with its age. My main concerns are as follows:
1
il pressure gauge stays all the way up (i was told its the sending unit)
2:gas gauge is stuck on full (also told sending unit)
3:there is a leak in the exhaust somewhere
4:it idles pretty high (cant find timing for it to fix it)
5:leak at the back of the transmission (told it was just a $10 seal)
6:spark plugs look like they are the originals but will be changed
I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix these problems if its not what im being told due to not quite having much money at this point and time. Also the engine is a v6 160 hp & 4-speed automatic 4x4. If you need anymore information please let me know & i will let you know as soon as possible.
