Hello my name is Al Albanowski.
I am new to this forum and to GMC trucks. I have always owned Fords and have a 6.0 powerstroke diesel now.
I am about to trade my diesel for a 2014 GMC 2500hd 4x4 SLE crew cab standard box with 6.0 vortec engine and 3.73 axle ratio. I pull a skid loader occasionally that is just over 10k.
I was hoping to be able to pull 11k with a GVWR of 9500. That would put the GCWR at 20500.
Can anyone confirm this is the true?
The specs for 2014 state 20500 as GCWR but does not specify the gear ratio.
The specs for 2015 state 20500 as the GCWR but only for the 4.10 and 3.73 is not available.
Thanks in advance for any help with this question.
