New to gmc

I bought a GMC Acadia... love this car but got a code for 1st shift solenoid not sure what it is or means... am I looking at bad news or can I fix this?

Depending on the year, if you do a search of the forum you will find out that a lot of people have had significant issues with the Acadia's transmission. I know my reply is of no help, but try doing a search to see if your question has already been answered.
