Need to Replace blower motor for 95 GMC Jimmy, need some help and info please

I need to replace the blower motor in our 1995 GMC Jimmy SLT.. I was told by one person the fender needs to be removed? But I am not sure... Can anyone help me out on this? I'd greatly appreciate it... Thank you :)

I know money is tite out there , but if you can , you ought to buy a
manual . I have a Haynes ( 25 bucks ) It has step by step with pics for this job
and a lot of others .
If you plan on doing your own work then its a good investment.
If you cant get 1 , shoot me a PM and I'll tell you what you need to do .

PS - the book says fender doesn't come off , see , worth it already ! : )

I talked to AutoZone and they have the blower and fan blade new for $29.99, and if I find out I do not need it as long as I do not install it, I can return it... But after checking a few things today I think it isn't the blower, and has more to do with some of the wires that power it... It was hit in the passenger right front side pretty good before we got it, the fender was replaced before we took ownership as well.. So that is another reason I am thinking it's a wire or relay or resistor...Cause when the blower works for heat/ac it works great, then goes out... So it either works great or not at all... But if you leave it on hot and run down the highway, air does get in and gives you a little bit of heat, the faster your travel down the road...
