I have mostly driven Fords for many years being my grandfather had been a Ford plant retire with the exception of one S10 Chevy. I did a bit of research on my quest for my next truck. While having had mostly full size trucks and currently owning a E350 van for the serious work, I only really needed a mid size truck for my daily driving and getting my mountain bike around. I was looking at the Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tacoma, Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. With Nissan being on a 10 year old platform I quickly ruled them out. I new the Toyota was getting a redesign for 2016 but I really didn't want to wait until they came out in the fall to make a comparison with the GM's. I was liking what I was reading with the GM's and started my test drives. I started with the Colorado. I was pretty impressed and really thought I would be getting one until my friend who just got a Canyon suggested taking a better look at them. After a little soul searching and a couple more test drives I chose the Canyon. I picked up a super sharp black All-Terrain with the goodies and couple of days ago and just getting started.
