Hi all I just bought a used GMC Sonoma 2003, 2.2L 4 cylinder speed. It is in excellent condition in side and out.. However I have questions.

I am wondering why the tires seem to spin out going up hill even though tire pressure is correct. They also spin out easy.

Also I am trying to find a Windshield sprayer nozzle and cannot seem to find them anywhere. It has been frustrating. Even online you cannot seem to find the.

Just wondering if you have any helpful tips for me.

Thanks:)

Steadygaze,

You said you were a new Sonoma owner, but not whether you've ever owned a pickup truck before. If you haven't owned a PU before, you will quickly learn how light in the rear end they are when empty, thus creating some very easy spin-outs on acceleration. As for wiper spray nozzles, have you tried JC Whitney? I haven't looked, but they often have stuff like this for other models, but just don't list it for the Sonoma. You would be able to cross reference parts for a GMC S15, GMC Envoy, Chevy Blazer and Chevy S10.

Hi I have had a truck before I do not remember it being slippery like that. I am looking for a camper shell for it right now. I am hoping that will help.

Thanks for the other info.

If it is a standard, it probably had the 4:10 rear differential, which creates lots of torque.
Check LMC Trucks for your nozzle, or maybe even a local gm dealer or website.
The dealer may be able to look up the part number for you, and then you can search for it online.
You could also have a poor brand of tires.

Yes The tired are brand new and they are a good brand name. So not sure with that. What is LMC? I am having a heard time finding a used camper shell for the truck because it is so small. I was thinking that would help and I travel allot. I love the little truck I am just concerned about it sliding. Anyway I so appreciate you guys loads.

I'd found a nice ARE shell on Craigs pretty cheap.

Be sure to get (and ask for) accurate measurements.
Not all 6 foot beds are created equal.

HA HA I did I got one last night. It is no the greatest in the world but it will work. It will eat gas thought which is a bummer.

I got washer sprayer nozzle led lights. Hey is it against the law to have those on the hood of your truck?

I do not know how to hook those things up..

varies from state to state.
Often it's color dependent.
(like blue LEDs are not allowed in many places.)

Oh wow! Okay well wont hook them up then.

I have another question. Ugh Okay I got a camper shell the problem is that the glass top part wont stay up.Is there a way to jimmy it? I looked to see if I could replace the arms but it looks like it is placed in Aluminum with those kind of screws or what ever you call them. I am wondering if there is a way.

Please let me know I am heading out of town next Wednesday.

Thanks

easiest thing is to put a spring clamp
(or the end of an old jumper cable)
in the back and clamp it on one of the struts while open.

On an older top, once I put tape on the strut,
drilled a hole in it while open, and wired a cotter pin next to it.

Where Can I find one of those clamps? I so appreciate your help so much..Thanks heaps.

I am also trying to find the right glue place a rubber seal on the back. I have black water seal am using that for somethings.:)

thanks again.

hardware store or Home Imp center has them.
Something else that works is a small pair of vise-grips
