Hi everyone, I picked up a 99 GMC Suburban 1500 slt a few hours ago. All I can say is wow! What a ride. IT has just over 122000 miles on it. Besides the driver side (a little warn out from getting in and out) it looks like new. The only problem I have noticed is the outside temp on the rear view mirror is not reading correctly. It was saying it was 30 degrees when its really in the 40s. Is this a sensor issue? Hopefully something easy to fix.
The truck has the flip down tv with a VHS player under the middle seat. Does anyone know if it is possible to switch this out with a DVD player? I would love to be able to play DVDs for my 2 year old on longer trips.
I also thought the Suburban was a Chevy and GMC made the Yukon. I now Chevy is technically a GMC. Is there a difference between a GMC Suburban and a Chevy Suburban?
