No air/heat

New to me envoy. Air works upon startup, and works for about 15 minutes and stops working. I did hook up a bottle of freon, but it said it was full already. Then on a cool morning I tried the heat and it was only hot for a couple minutes. Coolant looks okay. Let me know what you think.
